At RELON, Racheal plays a crucial role in program implementation by creating communication materials, documenting impact and success stories, and engaging diverse stakeholders to ensure effective involvement in the implementation of programs at RELON.
She oversees RELON’s digital communication channels and implements the organization’s communication strategy to align with RELON’s communication goals and objectives.
Racheal aims to establish a thriving platform, use communication to bring stakeholders together, fostering mutual support, knowledge sharing, and collaboration between RELON and RLOs to address challenges faced by refugee communities and Refugee Led Organizations.
Nubuhoro Dinah
Project Officer- Geared For Success
Dinah spearheads the Engagement of Refugee Led Organizations (RLOs) in the GFS Project activities.
Dinah is responsible for Coordinating GFS Project activities and ensuring successful implementation.
She is inspired by the desire to contribute to projects that positively impact the community, Continuous learning to expand her personal knowledge, capabilities and staying up-to-date with project trends.
Namugga Sheila
Refugee Engagement & Coordination Officer for RLOs & RELON
Sheila supervises and supports the program teams working under communication, advocacy, program management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and with RLOs. This evolves from structural development to impact realization.
She is the key figure in fostering collaboration between RELON and RLOs, furthering the mission to empower refugee communities. She is responsible for ensuring effective coordination and support for refugee-led initiatives.
Sheila has a wealth of experience in refugee advocacy, proposal writing, resource mobilization, and community engagement which drive her to push for results. She is inspired by her passion for supporting refugee-led initiatives and her dedication to empowering marginalized communities. This dedication is highlighted as a valuable quality that contributes significantly to the organization.
Mugerwa Muhammad
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Officer
Mugerwa leads and guides the team on project/program documentation, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning. Guides the team on best-implementing strategies through continued learning and corrective action.
Mugerwa is responsible for making sure the organization’s strategic plan is tracked and delivered to all projects/programs as implemented by the team.
Mugerwa is inspired by a phrase, “Without MEAL, it’s inseparable to differentiate failure from success” This is because in whatever we do as RELON, we intend to create a great living and working environment for RLOs and refugees at large, therefore, we keep track of our successes through the MEAL function.
Dorcus Nanjala
Administrative Assistant
Dorcus ensures there is efficient operation of the office and generally lending assistance to all RELON staff to make each individual work bearable.
Dorcus is responsible for office organization, managing admin communications, data entry, providing admin services as well as project and staff assistance.
She is inspired by the desire to grow professionally, have a work-life balance and make a difference in her space of influence.
A supportive work environment and a sense of accomplishment for the project activities fuels her motivation.
